Media License Terms

Last updated: June 2026 · Virtual Open House

Every purchase is tied to one of two license tiers. Copyright always remains with the photographer and/or Virtual Open House — a license grants usage rights, not ownership.

MLS MLS License — your listings only

A non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the media to promote your own listings only: MLS listings and listing syndication (Zillow, Realtor.com, etc.), listing pages on your website, and social posts promoting a specific listing.

Not permitted: office, team, or brokerage use; resale or redistribution; social-media ads or other promotion of your real estate business; and print of any kind. This license is for listing promotion only.

PRINT PRINT License — listings + your business

Everything in the MLS license, plus promoting your own real estate business: social media marketing and ads for your business, and printed materials — flyers, postcards, brochures, mailers, and signage.

Not permitted: office, team, or brokerage use; resale or redistribution. The license covers you, the purchasing agent, only.

Non-exclusive — and how to get exclusivity

Both licenses are non-exclusive: other agents can purchase and use the same images. If you want exclusive use of a photo or clip, use the Request exclusive use link under that image and we'll follow up with options and pricing.

General

You may not claim the media as your own work or use it in a defamatory or unlawful way. Media is provided as-is; Virtual Open House and its contributors are not liable for claims arising from use beyond the licensed scope.
